TIMMOTHY W. JOHNSON

Timmothy W. “Tim” Johnson, 67 of Canton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 surrounded by his family at his home in Canton.
The son of Thomas and Jane Cope Johnson was born on December 27, 1957 in Wood River, Illinois.
He was united in marriage to Cindy Murphy on June 26, 1987 on the Current River in Missouri.
Tim was a hard worker and passed that work ethic to his sons. He liked traveling on his motorcycle with his wife and also liked to go hunting with his dad and sons. He loved being a grandpa and was proud of the 1976 Mustang II Cobra Fastback that he had owned. He worked for Heetco for over 20 years and thought Paul and Phil Murfin were great  people to work for. He also served on the Sun- n-Surf Pool Board for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Johnson of Canton, Mo.; three sons, Sean (Chastity) Downs of Canton, Mo., Brandon Johnson (Katherine Jaro) of Canton, Mo. and Matthew (Kayla) Johnson of Monroe City, Mo.; grandchildren, Kaeleb Eisenbeiss, Brayden Downs, Aubree Downs, Landen Johnson, Autumn Johnson, Sofia Scott, Dearyn Johnson and Maddox Johnson; a sister, Debbie (Bob) Cook of Brighton, Ill., and a brother, Bob Johnson of Palmyra, New York; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Chaplain Mark Wiewel officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery near Williamstown, Missouri.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 until 8 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Hill Cemetery Association.
