Celebrating 75 Years of Marriage

Donald and Betty Barron, formerly of Lewistown, Missouri, will celebrate their 75th Wedding Anniversary on June 15, 2025.
The couple, now residents of Cheneyville, Illinois, have shared a remarkable journey of love, commitment, and family since their wedding in 1950. Betty is the sister of Erma Dee Jones, a current resident of Lewistown, MO, and the Barrons maintain strong ties to the community where they spent many years of their lives.
Donald and Betty are the proud parents of two sons, David (71) and Val (66), and their family has grown to include four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and three great-great- grandchildren, spanning five generations.
Adding to the joy of the celebration, their eldest son David Barron and his wife Pamela, of Ambia, Indiana, will also mark a milestone on the same day: their 51st Wedding Anniversary.
The Barrons will commemorate their 75th anniversary with a celebration among local family and friends—a testament to the enduring bonds they’ve nurtured over the decades.
Their long-lasting partnership continues to inspire all who know them, reflecting a legacy of love, perseverance, and family values.
