Missouri-Illinois All Star Basketball

The annual Missouri-Illinois All Star game, featuring local players who recently graduated was held June 21 at John Wood Community College’s Student Activity Center. The Illinois girls team defeated the Missouri girls 88-65. Canton’s Macy Glasgow (23) and Highland’s Ellie Goehl (33)
were the local girls that participated. The Missouri team was coached by Kelsey Stuart, Palmyra.
The Missouri boy’s team Lost to Illinois boys 89-82. Local boys team members were Canton’s Preston Brewer (32) and Tyler Frazier (34). The team was coached by Canton’s Dalton Armontrout and assistant coaches Andy Anderson and Doug Wilson.
