RUTH JAN ENGENDORF FOURNIER

Ruth Jeanette (Jan) Engendorf Fournier, 88, died June 15, 2025, at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Vermont.
She was born on August 25, 1936, in Canton, Missouri to Walter and Ruth Lillard Engendorf. She married Maurice (Mike) Fournier January 1, 1983, and he passed on March 2, 2022.
Jeanette (Jan) attended Culver Stockton College and went on to have a successful career working for DeLaval Corporation and spent the last years of her career with Bourbeau International in Vermont. Mike and Jan traveled to many places both domestically and internationally. She enjoyed watching and cheering on the Boston Red Sox baseball and Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadians hockey teams.
She is survived by her twin sister Janet James of Ohio, nephew John James of Palmyra, Missouri, niece Judy Vogt of Arizona.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Mike, parents Walter and Ruth Engendorf and other family members.
Graveside services will be held on June 28 at 2 pm at the St. Mary Cemetery in Swanton, Vt. Goss Life Celebration Homes are handling the services.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans, Vt., and Wendy Campbell neighbor and dear friend.
In lieu of flower the family requests you make donations to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-Saint Louis Parish or the Swanton Community Food Shelf, located at 65 Canada Street, Swanton, VT 05488.
