Joseph Bernard “Joe” Marshall, 86, of Hugo, Minn., died January 27, 2025.
Carolyn Jane Stephens Marshall, 84, of Hugo, Minn., formerly of LaGrange, Mo., died June 14, 2025.
Graveside Services with full Military Honors will be at 3:30 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2025, at Dover Cemetery in Rural LaGrange, Mo.
Friends and Family are invited to Joe and Carolyn’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange, Mo.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange, Mo.
Joseph was born September 29, 1938, in Northern Wisconsin. Carolyn was born March 14, 1941, in LaGrange, Mo., to Roy Stephens and Helen Ellison Stephens.
Survivors include their daughter, Mary Jo Marshall, sons, Andrew Marshall, Matthew (Julie) Marshall and nine grandchildren.
Joe and Carolyn met while serving in the Army and were married for 64 years.Joe was a successful attorney, known for his advocacy in personal injury law and law enforcement training and rights. Carolyn was a proud member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, homemaker and volunteer for schools, church, and community.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Fund.
