Community Night Out

The Canton Police Department hosted Community Night Out on August 5, 2025. This is a nationwide annual event where communities across the United States come together to foster positive relationships between residents and law enforcement. The event aims to enhance crime prevention awareness and build stronger community bonds.  National Night Out is usually celebrated on the first Tuesday of August. The event is an opportunity for neighbors to connect with each other and with local law enforcement in a relaxed, positive environment.  The event was held at Sun N Surf pool in Canton with free swimming, food and games. Several other local emergency departments participated in the event with the Canton Police Department. Inflatables, balloon art and lots of pizza and snacks were enjoyed by the community.
