GLENN KRUEGER

Glenn C. W. Krueger, 89 of Monticello, Missouri, died August 20, 2025 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Missouri.
The son of Arthur and Julia Klingemann Krueger was born on March 31, 1936 in St. Louis County, Missouri.
He was united in marriage to Sharan P. Schrader on December 9, 1961 in Quincy, Illinois. Glenn was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1958 receiving a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He always wanted to be a grain farmer. After graduation and service in the U.S. Army he returned to Lewis County to farm. He and Sharan purchased a farm north of Monticello in 1963 and resided there for these past 62 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. He enjoyed outdoor activities, with hunting mushrooms, quail and turkeys among his favorites. Deer season was a special time as many friends and family returned each year. He served as president of the Highland Booster Club, served on the Clark County FHA Board and was active in 4-H and the Lewis County Fair. He was a Cardinals baseball and Mizzou Sports fan.n He and Sharan enjoyed traveling with her sisters and their husbands, Donna (Ray) Johnson and Pat (Bill) Florey.
He is survived by his wife, Sharan Krueger of Monticello, Mo.; three sons, Roger (Vicki) Krueger of Roach, Mo., Ronald (Leah) Krueger of Monticello, Mo. and Ross (Ginger) Krueger of Webster Groves, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Kayla (Cody) Boellstorff of Lincoln, Ne., Thomas Krueger of Dallas, Tx., Evan Krueger of Columbia, Mo., Emerie Krueger of Columbia, Mo., Olivia Rounds, Ari Rounds and Noah Rounds, all of Monticello, Mo.; a great granddaughter, Lillian Boellstorff; siblings, Allen (Katherine) Krueger of Williamstown, Mo., Jeanette Kepler of Lisbon, Ia., Bernita (Wyverne) Penn of Quincy, Il., Marvin (Marjorie) Krueger of Tulare, Ca.; sister in law, Ellen Krueger of Washington, Ia.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Vernon Krueger, brother-in- law, Paul Kepler and a nephew, Kevin McAfee.
Funeral services: August 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri. Rev. Rusty Schultz officiating. Visitation: August 25, 2025 from 4 until 8 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton. Pallbearers: Thomas Krueger, Evan Krueger, Ari Rounds, Noah Rounds, Brent McAfee, Gary Penn and Mark Krueger.
Burial: Monticello Cemetery, Monticello, Mo.
