Heartland Resources Receives Grant

Heartland Resources Inc. has been selected to receive a Community Foundation Grant Award for 2025. The awards were presented at a ceremony at the Kroc Center in Quincy on August 13. The award was funded by Community Endowment Funds and the Lewis County Endowment Fund.
The funds will be used to purchase food for hot home meal deliveries to senior citizens and handicapped individuals in Lewis County, enabling them to age in place with independence and dignity. It will supplement government funding so that additional clients may be served by the community volunteers who deliver the meals.
