Lawrence Bud Wietholder

Lawrence Bud Wietholder, 80, of Canton, Missouri, formerly of Camp Point, Illinois, and
Greentop, Missouri, died November 23, 2025, at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at St. Edward The
Confessor Catholic Church in Mendon, Illinois. Fr. Scott Snider Officiating. 
Before the Mass, there will be a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. 
Burial will take place immediately after at Calvary Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Triplett Funeral Home in Mendon, ending with the rosary. 
Memorial contributions can be made to Community Living Care Hospice in Bowling Green, Missouri, or to St. Edward’s Catholic Church.
