Shrine of St. Patrick Special Pictorial Cancellation Envelope
February 28, 2026
The Shrine of St. Patrick is proud to announce the 2026 Special Pictorial Cancellation Envelope depicting the Irish Cottage home. The traditional Irish Cottage was a humble dwelling designed to be built quickly and affordably using materials sourced within a few miles of the building site. The materials were made of local stone and tempered clay. The most iconic feature was the steep, sloped roof made from layers of straw, reed, or heather. What a warm Irish greeting this would be for all your family and friends to enjoy for St. Patrick’s Day.
The cost for each envelope this year is $2.50 each and includes the Special Pictorial Cancellation, Irish greeting insert, postage, and the cachet circular stamping of “Saint Patrick, Mo. The Only One In The World”.
All you need to do is send us your mailing list. We will sign the greeting inserts for you if requested and can mail on any day from March 1st thru March 31st. The Shrine of St. Patrick parishioners will do all the work to ensure your letters are completed and mailed at the St. Patrick Post Office.
Please send your mailing list and check, payable to the Shrine of St. Patrick to the following address:
