Cougars Last Home Game

Highland Cougars played their last home game of the season recently with a win over Mark Twain. Pictured is senior Christopher Gaus with a big dunk. The Class 3 District 6 basketball tournament begins this week at Monroe City.  The Highland boys take on Macon in the first round. The Cougars have a 4-19 record. The championship game will be played Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. The Highland Lady Cougars are seeded number one in the Class 3 District girls basketball tournament and their first game is scheduled for Feb. 25. Highland is the host school for the girls district tournament with the championship game at 6 p.m. Feb. 27. The Lady Cougars have a 20-5 record to begin the tournament.
