RONALD PAUL BRINGER
Ronald (Ronnie) Paul Bringer, 73, of LaGrange, Mo., died November 30, 2022 at 4:05 p.m. in the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Mo.
Ronald was born May 17, 1949, a son of Paul William George and Clarissa M. Vaughn Bringer. Ron was married to Jan Harscher Caudill on November 17, 2006 in Quincy, Ill.
Ron graduated from LaGrange High School, and worked for Culver Stockton College for 30 years. Ron operated Bringer Farms. He was proud to work along side his son and grandsons. Ron was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. Ron enjoyed attending truck pulls with Jan, Steve, Lynette and the boys; and it was not uncommon to find Ron and Jan stopping at the 18 Wheeler for midnight meals after truck pulls. Ron enjoyed NASCAR, traveling with Jan and dear friends Lester and Francis Jennings. Ron always looked forward to Sunday lunches at Mom’s with Bev and Gene. Ron loved talking about farming, listening and swapping stories with the grand kids. Ron enjoyed watching youth baseball, softball, cheerleading, football, cross country, soccer and basketball, as well as choir, drama and dance. He was a proud Papa.
Ron leaves behind his wife Jan; a son, Steve (Lynette) Bringer, a step-daughter, Christy (Chris) Power, and a step-son, John (Lindsay) Caudill; 9 grandchildren, Garrett Bringer (Chelsea Zahn), Jarred Bringer, Cade Biswell, Isabella Biswell, Bronwyn Biswell, Nathan Caudill, Alivia “AJ” Caudill, Leah Caudill and Nick Caudill; mother-in-law, Beverly Carroll, sister-in-law, Debbie Shepherd and brother in law Jimmie (Toni) Harscher.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services and burial were held December 3, 2022 at Mark’s Cemetery in LaGrange with Pastor Jacob Hercamp officiating. Visitation was held preceding services at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange. Pallbearers: Carroll Garkie, Lester Jennings, Charlie Mike Bringer, Dennis Bringer, Mark Baker and Brad Putnam
