Free Health and Safety Fair

March 01, 2023

The Hannibal Clinic Health Services will offer at the Hannibal Clinic Health & Safety Fair on Saturday, March 11, between 10 and noon in the Clinic’s main lobby.

In addition to prizes and giveaways, children will be able to make their own-mini first aid kits and meet Hannibal first responders.

For adults, a STOP THE BLEED presentation will take place from 10:30-11:30 am in the Clinic’s MJB Conference Room. The program teaches recognition of life-threatening bleeding and how to act quickly and effectively to control it through three techniques: Properly applied pressure, packing and bandaging a wound and applying a tourniquet.

Throughout the fair basic CPR training for adults and children will be offered. It will include adult hands-only CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, pediatric CPR and choking response, and first aid. This training can benefit parents, grandparents and babysitters. While educational, participants will not earn certifications.

Stroke education will also be available at the Hannibal Clinic Health and Safety Fair. No registration is required to attend the Hannibal Clinic Health & Safety Fair on Saturday, March 11 from 10 am to Noon.
