MICHAEL MCAFEE

Michael L. McAfee, 62, of St. Charles, Missouri, formerly of Ilasco, Mo., went to be with the Lord March 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Mo.

Mike was born January 27, 1954, in Ilasco, Mo., to Charles Junior McAfee and Beverly Elaine James McAfee Hollon. Michael was married to Carol Joean Hamburger on January 26, 1974. She preceded him in death on June 28, 1979.Mike worked at several positions over the years including: Atlantic Buildings, Steel Casting, and Sheller Globe in Keokuk, Iowa.

Survivors include three children, Michael Lee McAfee (Linda), Christopher Joseph McAfee, Stacey Schultz, his brothers and sisters; Jim McAfee (Diane), Gary McAfee (Jane), Ron McAfee (Peggy), Dean McAfee (Mary), Kaye Gottman ( Wayne), Becky McClain (Buster), Cheryl Cunningham (Chuck), Tom McAfee (Dana), two special aunts, Carolyn Epperson and Jean McAfee, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and step father, Francis Hollon.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Salt River Christian Church in Rural New London. Rev. Richard Epperson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services, Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be Christopher McAfee, Dean McAfee, Jim McAfee, Gary McAfee, Ronald McAfee, and Tom McAfee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael McAfee and Stacey Schultz.

Burial will be at Salt River Christian Church Cemetery in Rural New London.

The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Memorial contributions may be made to the McAfee Family in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
