Heartland Resources Fundraiser

Heartland Resources, Inc. hosted a steak dinner fundraiser on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Queen of Peace Hall in Ewing. Steaks were provided and prepared by the Lewis and Marion County Cattlemen’s Association. All proceeds will benefit Heartland Resources’ meal deliveries and in-home health services to the elderly and disabled of Lewis County. Musical entertainment provided by The Sounds of the Limit. A large crowd attended and enjoyed the delicious steak dinner with all the trimmings.

The Nutrition site is vital to Lewis County to help those senior citizens and shut-ins. Meals are cooked and delivered to people, who may not be able to shop or cook for themselves. Volunteers for deliveries are always needed, as well as donations.

Many volunteers helped to organize and work at the event. There were door prizes, raffles and a silent auction. Much appreciation to everyone who volunteered, donated and attended the event.
