ARLENE HICKMAN  

Arlene Hickman, 69, of LaGrange, Mo., died April 12, 2024 at her home in LaGrange.  

Arlene was born March 13, 1955 in Quincy, Il., a daughter of Calvin and Osceolla Campbell Hickman Sr.

Arlene was a member of the Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in LaGrange. She enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Arlene was a pro at throwing washers.  She loved music and dancing and would dance and sing to any beat!  She loved laughing with her family, often times laughing at each other’s “slip ups.”  Family was most important her.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Hickman of LaGrange, Mo.; three brothers, Calvin Hickman Jr. of Quincy, Ill., Jerry Hickman of San Leondro, Calif., and Lonnie Hickman of LaGrange, Mo.; seven sisters, Quetta (James) McCane of Mt. Pleasant, Ia., Beverly (Robert) Babers of Rock Island, Ill., Darlene Hickman of LaGrange, Mo., Donna (Rob) Walter and Jackie (Michael) Osborne both of Quincy, Ill., Julie (Donnie) Dade and Valerie (Carlos) Buckner both of Keokuk, Ia., and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Harold Tate, brothers, Stephen Hickman and Gary Tate and sisters, Debbie Tate and Debbie Hickman.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange, Mo., with Rev. Dane Humphrey officiating.  

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home. 

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 146, LaGrange, Mo.
