SHARON JOYCE COIN

Sharon Joyce Coin, 76, of Milan, Missouri, died February 2, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Joyce was born June 2, 1945 in Pollock, Missouri to Ora and Clara Fern (Nichols) Pierson. On December 31, 1961 in Pollock, Missouri she married Wayne Edward Coin, he preceded her in death in 2013.
Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milan, the Women’s Democrat Party, Lydia Circle and the Red Hats. She served for 10 years as treasurer of the United Methodist Church. Joyce always needed something to do to keep busy, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, and canning. She also liked playing cards and games, and doing puzzles. Joyce most loved spending as much time as she could with her friends and family.
Joyce was survived by: three children, Robin Keller and husband Kenny of Canton, Missouri, John Coin and wife Jen of Troy, Missouri, and Amy Schenking and husband Mark of Grinnell, Iowa; Grandchildren, Sharon (Reynold) Stout, Todd (Nikki) Cale, Jesse Keller, Laura Keller, Christopher (Shaunna) Coin, Ben Coin, Leslie Coin, Tyler Coin, Courtney Makus, Justin (Katelynn) Makus, Gabriel (Catey) Coin, Lacey (Jason) Daedlow, Brandon (Shaye) Coin, and Derek Coin; Great grandchildren, Kanna Miller, Xander Miller, Kason Miller, Xenlei Miller, Carter Cale, Gage Cale, Sarah Matthews, Willie Keller, Morris Keller, Kaylee Keller, Chloe Stout, Cameron Stout, Parker Goforth, Kate Goforth, Hayes Coin, Sydney Coin, Christionna Coin, Hadley Coin, Leland Foster, Braxton Makus, Taylor (John) Westgerdes, Jack Westgerdes, Kyleigh Coin, Rocky Coin, Sophia Coin, Taylor Coin, Brecken Welsh, Brycen Welsh, Eliott Coin, Zoey Scholte, and Avery Coin; sisters, Darlene Perkins and husband Riley of Liberty, Missouri and Maxine Eddy and husband Hugh Dean of Milan; a brother-in-law, James Young of Green City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Ora and Clara Fern; a son, Bradley Coin; grandchildren, Joshua Coin and Darrin Cale; a great grandchild, Knox Coin; a sister, Norma Young; a brother-in-law, Ray Scott; a sister-in-law, Sharon Scott.
Funeral services were held February 7, 2022 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Visitation was held prior to the service.
Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Oakwood Cemetery or the First Baptist Church in Milan.
