Mays Sentenced

Marcus Mays, 38, of LaGrange, Mo., was sentenced Oct. 26, 2022 at Scotland County to life without parole on the first degree murder charge for the 2018 death of two year old Taylen Allen, according to news sources. Mays was convicted of the murder on August 26, 2022, along with eight other felonies, including seven child abuse felonies. Along with the life sentence, Mays was also sentenced to 30 years each on the other felony charges that are to run consecutively, adding up to 240 years plus the life sentence.
