MICHAEL BROSS

Michael Lee Bross, 66 of Canton, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

The son of Kenneth L. and Avera J. Jacobs Bross was born on May 14, 1956 at Edina, Missouri.

Mike was an active member of the Southern Baptist Fellowship Church in Wayland, Mo. He worked for Ayers Oil Co. for 45 years. He enjoyed bowling, researching his family tree, scrapbooking, watching and feeding birds and watching sporting events. He loved holiday dinners, spending time with family and friends and especially caring for his dog “Buddy”.

He is survived by his brother, Kenny (Becky) Bross of Canton, Mo.; nieces and nephew, Stephanie Cunningham of Hannibal, Mo., Matt (Jodi) Bross of Paris, Mo. and Michelle (Jason) Ehreneich of Springfield, Mo.; great nieces and nephews, Rachel & Hannah Cunningham, Logan, Dawson, Autumn and Shiloh Bross; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and dog Buddy.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery at Palmyra, Missouri with Rev. Dan Steinbeck officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9 AM until 12 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri. Pallbearers: Matt Bross, Stanley Uhlmeyer, Jim Blessing, Daryl Berhorst, Eric Goodwin and Delbert Brumbaugh. Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Ayers and Michael Taylor.

Memorials may be made to the Southern Baptist Fellowship Church of Wayland or the Lewis County Nursing Home Auxiliary.
