TY TIM COURTNEY

Ty Tim Courtney, 61 of Lewistown, Missouri died Wednesday, April 12. 2023 at his home in Lewistown.

The son of John Paul and Sandra Sue Burnett Courtney was born on August 4, 1961 at Quincy, Illinois.

Ty was a lifelong member of the NRA. He loved to target shoot, fish and hunt for native artifacts, especially arrow heads.

He is survived by his son, Michael Courtney (Melissa Taylor) of Quincy, Illinois; grandchildren, Bryleigh and Kaeson Courtney and Sienna; three sisters, Tonya (Joey) Knittel of Midland, Texas, Tanna Snell of Firth, Idaho and Tammy Jacobs of Fireball, California; two nieces, Amanda Knittel of San Angelo, Texas and Brandy Snell of Firth, Idaho; and a nephew, Gordon Snell, Jr. of Firth, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brother in laws, Gordon Snell and Howard Jacobs.

Graveside services and inurnment will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery at Quincy, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
