Paula A. Otte, 66 of Canton, Missouri, died December 19, 2023 at Quincy, Illinois.

​The daughter of Virgil and Donna Rae (Miller) Kelle was born on April 8, 1957 in Quincy, Illinois.

​She was united in marriage to Keith M. Otte on March 26, 1983 in Quincy, Illinois. They welcomed a daughter, Ashley L. Otte and a son, Keith M. Otte, II.

​Paula was a Girl Scout leader for Ashley and Halli. She loved arts and crafts, camping, her dogs, strawberry daiquiris, and most of all Amazon. She also loved to cook and bake and she made the best chocolate milk ever for her grandkids.  If mom and dad said no, ask grandma.  She’d get it for you.  She loved her family and loved giving to others.

​She is survived by her husband, Keith Otte of Canton, Mo.; a son, Keith M. (Sierra) Otte II of Canton, Mo.; grandchildren, Halli Otte (Delaney), Keith M. Otte, III and Kai T. Otte, all of Canton, Mo.; mother, Joyce Kelle of Quincy, Ill.; three brothers, John M. Kelle of Quincy, Ill., Scott (Sue) Kelle of Quincy, Ill., and Christopher P. (Ashley) Kelle of Hannibal, Mo.; two sisters, Carrie J. Lisenbee and Kathy E. (George) Kerkoff both of Quincy, Ill.; mother-in law, Mary Ann Otte of Canton, Mo.; brother-in law, Mark (Nicole) Otte of Canton, Mo.; sisters-in law, Penny Otte (Greg) of Lone Jack, Mo., Cindy Otte (David) of Springfield, Mo.; cousin, Sue Pruitt of Springfield, Mo.; several nieces, nephews and honorary grandchildren; honorary sons and daughters, Phillip Weisheit, Talia Elizabeth, Robbie Ellison, Matthew (Beth) Baker, Elizabeth Ernst, Jaquan Weldon and special friends, Dusty and Zeb Smeltser.

​She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Ashley L. Otte, father-in law, Robert E. Otte, brother-in law, Jason Lisenbee and several other beloved extended family members. 

Funeral services were held December 22, 2023 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton, Missouri with Rev. Orlie Yoder officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Robbie Ellison, Matthew Baker, Joe Kelle, Josh Puebla, Jake Puebla and Zeb Smeltser.

Inurnment will be in Forest Grove Cemetery at a later date.
