NORMA LEE FARR

Mrs. Norma Lee Farr, 84, of Quincy, Ill., formerly of LaGrange, Mo., died June 20, 2024 in St John’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill.

Norma was born October 17, 1939 in Monticello, Mo., a daughter of Willard Lee and Lena Mildred Robinson Wiley.  She married Earl David Farr on December 8, 1956 in LaGrange, Mo.  He passed away April 18, 2002.

Norma had been employed at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton for 12 years retiring in 2010. She had been a member of PTA of LaGrange for 20 years and also had been a member of the Highland Booster Club. She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.  She was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Lori (Chuck) Ensley of Quincy; two sons, Brad (Andrea) Farr of Hannibal, Mo., and Bryan Farr of La Grange; three grandchildren, Jakob Farr of Olympia, Wash., and Lucas and Logan Ensley both of Quincy, Ill., and one brother, Harold Wiley of Springfield, Mo.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Leta Garner and brother Charles Wiley.

Funeral services were held June 24, 2024. at the Davis Funeral Home in La Grange with Rev. Barry Pfister officiating. Pallbearers:  Larry Six, Larry Caldwell, Randy Garner, Jimmy Garner, Dennis Garner and Gregory Garner. Music: Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in La Grange.
